Weddings are wonderful events that celebrate the love of two people.
But if the wedding you’re attending seems less like a traditional nuptial and more like a yard sale, chances are that you may actually be at a ‘hipster wedding’.
What are the telltale signs? Refinery29 has created a flowchart that helps you compare the wedding you’re at, to help you decide if you’re at a hipster wedding, or a wedding from hell.
The flowchart entitled ‘Are You At A Hipster Wedding?’ starts with how the invitation was received—through the mail, or an interactive website—and proceeds with other questions such as: is the bride or groom a graphic designer, where is the wedding held, and what drinks, decoration and other elements are available at the wedding.
