Facebook is testing new emoticons for status updates, according to Mashable.
The social network’s new feature will allow users to add a wide variety of emoticons to share what they’re doing, eating, feeling, or watching—enhanced with icons of smiley faces, bacon and eggs, and messages.
To feature the emoticons, users just have to click a small icon on the status update box—which would reveal categories—and choose or search from a list of icons they intend to feature.
Facebook users would now be able to post an update with a pizza emoticon, or a movie title.
Currently, the emoticon feature is only available to select profiles, but will roll out in the US soon.
