Scotland-based photographer Rowan Corkill has created a bizarre series of self-portraits, in which he holds various dead animals in his mouth.
Titled ‘Portrait of a Species’, the self-portraits feature Corkill presenting the carcasses of a squirrel, a crow, a rabbit and various small birds to his viewers—which My Modern Met describes as “blurring the lines between human, animal, predator, and prey”.
