
They say that it is what is on the inside that counts—but in the case of Bonnard, a Mexico-based French-style tea and confectionary shop, the outside matters a lot too.
Featuring lovely, pastel-colored paint strokes and blobs, the packaging design for this tea house resembles a piece of lovely abstract art—and that is little wonder, considering that its chief inspiration is the post-impressionist paintings of Pierre Bonnard.
Designed by studio Anagrama, the simple but striking design is paired with French words and phonetics to effectively bring across the Gallic concept of the shop—a gold foil stamp on its business card adds a touch luxury to the branding.
