In a post on Picture Archive Council of America’s blog, ex- president Robert Henson claims that software-making giant Microsoft is encouraging online theft of images.
With its new Office software, the company has replaced an image search functionality—on its Office web page Images—to lead users to “Use Bing to get images”.
The search function writes its three-step procedure: Open Bing.com (and search for an image) Hover over your selected item… and Right clickClick Save picture as…in the menu. Save image
