Singer Lady Gaga has unveiled what she claims to be the “world’s first flying dress”.
Called ‘Volantis’, the flying dress created to promote Gaga’s new album ARTPOP, features a white carbon fiber dress attached to six giant fans.
Created with the help of TechHaus (tech branch of Haus of Gaga) and London-based Studio XO, the high-tech wearable vehicle was brought for a test drive by Mother Monster herself—and it floated 70-inches off the floor and a little distance across the room.
Volantis is still in its testing stages, but hopes to be a symbol of the future and its youth.
“I wanted to make today about something even more important to me, and that something is that youth of the world,” Gaga told AP. “Their minds are just so boundless. They’re just so inspiring.”
