Take a look at your email account’s spam box: it’s no doubt the subject lines of these emails were cleverly written, and are somewhat attractive enough to get its recipients to click them open.
As a tribute to these catchy lines and their creators, UK-based illustrator Linzie Hunter decided to create a series of colorful typographic postcards and compiled them into a book—‘Secret Weapon: 30 Hand-Painted Spam Postcards’.
Based on unfiltered subject lines of spam emails, the 30 pieces consist of sexual innuendos and rude-but-funny lines that would make for, though inappropriate, amusing mail for friends.
Despite being published back in 2008 by Chronicle Books, the postcards are still relevant to date.
