In anticipation of Apple’s new iPhone 5S that may be unveiled on 10 September 2013, YouTube user Matthias decided to create a parody video to mock how the tech company might unveil its product.
By using Apple's marketing clichés like “breaking new boundaries”, the actors—stand-ins for Tim Cook, Sir Jonathan Ive and Phil Schiller—tell customers that the iPhone 5S is the exact same phone they have been using, as the “S” stands for “same”.
This fake creative team also makes fun of iPhone consumers, with quotes like, “their love for Siri proves that ignorance is bliss,” and how there is a “profound and enduring beauty with how much we are able to get away with.”
