In January, when British people wanted to campaign against Romanian and Bulgarian immigrants, many Europeans thought that the idea was tactless.
However, it seems like the ad agency GMP Advertising and Romanian newspaper Gândul have gotten back at Britain with the ad campaign, “You Won’t Like It Here”.
These posters, which “invite” British people to visit while making fun of their quirks, were uploaded to Facebook and placed in Britain’s public spaces.
One particular poster reads, “Summer here lasts three months, not three hours,” and each poster is accompanied with the slogan “We may not like Britain, but you’ll love Romania”.
Minimalistic in nature, these ads show that sometimes, all you need is a witty line or two to get your point across.
