For most women, most of the time, their monthly period is not a cause for celebration—besides, a menstruation-themed party really does not sound like a good idea.
Despite this, the founders of ‘The Period Store’—a period care package subscription service that sends out goodie bags to make “that time of the month” more bearable—has gone ahead to throw a launch party for their “bloody business” that is named ‘Menstruation Celebration’.
Naturally, the color scheme of the party consists of the various shades of red, which also applies to the food—party-goers got to snack on red velvet cupcakes, uterus sugar cookies and blood suckers, while they sip on delicious red beverages.
