An Awesome LEGO Model Of The Iconic Apple Store

The fact that Apple has trademarked its store design shows just how distinctive the brand’s glass-clad, cleanly laid-out retail outlets are—they have also proliferated across the globe and can now be found in many bustling cities.

When New York-based LEGO fan club “I LUG NY” decided to do a train layout for this year’s BrickFair, freelance developer and LEGO enthusiast Jon Lazar thought that an Apple store would be an apt contribution to the display.

He proceeded to build a great two-story LEGO model of the Apple store—the first floor houses the iPads and MacBooks; while the second floor, the iPhones and Genius Bar.

“The outside of the store was inspired by the liberal use of glass in the facades of the regular Apple Stores. With the Apple love for clean design, I made it white with clear windows, which made it stand out amongst the darker colored buildings around it,” Lazar said.

Lazar has documented the process of creating this LEGO Apple store in a blog post, where you can also find more images of the model.
