Moroccan artist Yasmina Alaoui and Chilean photographer Marco Guerra have embarked on a creative project called “One Thousand And One Dreams”.
In this series, photographs of women who are decorated in Arabic Henna calligraphy are shown, creating the illusion that they have been painted.
However, the photographs were originally in black and white—Alaoui merely added the details to them, giving the viewer the impression that these models were tattooed.
By creating these illusions, the couple shows that beauty can be found in every aspect of humanity.
