For Portland and New York based photographer Brad Carlile, each hotel room tells a story.

Struck by their impersonal nature, the photographer decided to capture the rooms with multiple exposure techniques shot over two days.

These shots of “Edward Hopper interiors,” are awash in what he calls “James Turrell colors” and also take the cues from the Cubists, as they are layered with different perspectives.

Called “Tempus Incognitus”, Carlile has managed to freeze several moments in one shot, inviting the viewer to ponder some of the interactions which took place in these hotel rooms.
