Pro-cycling Copenhagenize recently released a honest car “commercial” that is “based in reality instead of fantasy”—instead of featuring beautiful, shiny road machines, it showcases horrifying car wrecks.
Imagining how a typical car ad would look if it reflects what it is really like on the roads, this parody ad—created by the studio’s intern Ivan Conte—aims to show how dangerous driving can be.
Copenhagenize has even gone so far as to suggest that perhaps, car commercials should be forced to feature health warnings, the same rule that applies to tobacco products now.
