Japanese artist Rie Hosokai has created a wedding dress made entirely of LEGO bricks.
Made for Tokyo’s “Piece of Peace” charity at the Parco museum, the dress is shaped and contoured like one of Hokosai’s “balloon” dresses.
By using LEGO pieces, Hosokai seeks to explore the theme of reconstruction in her work, using the blocks as basic elements to create what she calls “extensions of knowledge”.
While this dress will definitely turn heads, it is more of a work of art than a wearable piece.
