Through clever photo manipulations, photographer Giuseppe Colarusso transforms everyday objects into something surreal and strange.
Colarusso’s deceptively simple ‘Improbabilità’ series is a playful exploration of the functions of objects.
Some of his manipulations give the objects a new function, like the tin can-cup hybrid, while others make the object useless, like the set of cutlery with rope for handles.
He also explores the fundamental nature of objects in other manipulations, like the hammer that needs plugged in for power or the hot chilli-fire extinguisher.
