After the conclusion of Sunday night’s episode, AMC has issued a ‘press release’ sent out by Mad Men’s Peggy Olsen that comments on the newly rebranded ad agency ‘Sterling Cooper & Partners’.
On the episode, the New York-based agency previously known as “Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce” merged with competitor Cutler Gleason and Chaough—and they settled for the name “Sterling Cooper & Partners”.
With a new logo “SC&P”, the rebrand honors the original partners Bertram Cooper and Roger Sterling Sr.
“A name can mean a new beginning, a chance to see yourself as you would dream to be, and to leave the baggage you have accumulated over the years behind,” SC&P partner Don Draper said in the statement. “At least that’s been my observation.”
