Inspired by Stan Winston, the special effects artist known for the movies ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Aliens’, ‘Terminator’ and ‘Iron Man’, Brazil-based artist Fábio Silva decided to build a velociraptor suit.
Silva designed and built the fully functional suit himself, using resources from the internet and movies as reference, a fantastic achievement considering that he did not have access to any materials commonly used in the effects industry.
Silva worked out of a temporary studio in his home, and used a combination of aluminum and plastic for his amazing creation, finishing the project in a few weeks.
