The ‘Touchfire’ is a screen-top keyboard for iPads that “weighs almost nothing”, according to its makers.
With its strategically-placed magnets, the paper thin keyboard automatically aligns to the iPad and fits directly onto the screen.
The Touchfire also puts the ‘touch’ back into typing on touchscreen surfaces, enabling its users to type fast without looking at the screen—and even drag and swipe on screen through it.
When users need the entire screen, its silicon material also makes it flexible enough to be removed, to get it out of the way.
But as it’s transparent, users are also able to see the entire screen through the keyboard.
Touchfire is retailing at US$42.
