As part of an ad campaign to promote the upcoming neo-noir thriller crime film ‘Dead Man Down’, New York City-based marketing agency Thinkmodo decided to put people to the test and observe what they would do if they came across a murder in progress.
By installing a hidden camera inside an elevator in NYC, the agency recorded the reactions of unsuspecting victims as they encountered a man being strangled with an extension cord by another man.
Most of them reacted by running away, while others chose to step in and help—there was even a guy who just stood there to take pictures.
The agency then posed the question: ‘What would YOU do?”
