US-based product design company Designhype has designed Metro Cuffs, which are metal cuff bracelets with subway and street maps embossed into the surface of the metal.
Metro Cuffs currently have the metro maps of major cities such as London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Berlin and Milan. Soon to be offered is Brooklyn, and other new cities could hit the product offering soon.
The Metro Cuff’s savvy design “helps locals and tourists alike feel comfortable navigating the subway system with an inconspicuous gesture, just like checking a watch”, which makes them great as souvenirs or gifts.
