Cardboard Boxes That Help The Homeless Get Off The Street

In a bid to help homeless people, charity organization Depaul UK—together with the help of agency Publicis London—set up a new company that sells cardboard boxes.

The Depaul Box Company encourages those that are moving houses to buy their cardboard boxes, to help those with no homes—as all profits, from the boxes sold, go to helping young homeless people move off the street.

A pack of 10 boxes is priced at £30; 20 at £40; and 30 at £60.

“In a crowded charity marketplace it’s difficult to raise funds by simply asking for donations any more,” Andy Bird of Publicis London told Creative Review. “So we created a product that helps to raise awareness for Depaul and of youth homelessness, create a sustainable income for the charity and actually be of real tangible use to people, whether moving home or as everyday storage.”
