Madrid-based photographer Montse Zamora has shot some stunning pictures of a gorgeous and unusual Xidayinggang Twin Bridge in Shanghai, China.
Designed by Shanghai-based architectural firm CA Group, the pair of bridges features dramatic white arches that jump from side to side, creating inter-locking, double helix-like structures.
From afar, these imposing bridges look like a surreal, artistic roller-coaster—suspension cords drawn tight beneath the arches resemble the tracks of the common amusement park ride.
In fact, they are inspired by mountains, which are absent in this part of China.
