UK-based retired printer Tom Bingham created an amazing collection of ‘Star Wars’-themed guitars that will make any hardcore fan want to break out into a ‘Han Solo’ (pun intended).
Designed in the shape of various spaceships from the franchise—like the Millennium Falcon, Y-wing and B-wing fighter—the custom-made guitars can be played like a regular instrument.
According to Bingham, it took him about three months to create the guitars, using materials collected from car boot sales.
“The important thing is you have to make the body very rigid—I had to take the Millenium Falcon kits apart to heir 140 odd pieces and rebuild it so it supports the neck I attach it to.”
“It isn’t easy and took hours painstakingly building it every day.”
