Malaysian-based photographer Jason Isley has captured a series of photos that features miniature toys interacting with various marine life.
Deciding to move away from traditional underwater photography, Isley captures the toy figures in playful and humorous scenes as they interact with different marine wildlife.
“I was completely bored with macro photography, most people are, which is why snoots and diopters are used—to spice the macro,” said Isley. “I was looking for something completely different, something that would create a response.”
“I came across the work of Christopher Boffoli and Slinkachu who had both used miniatures in still-life sets and suddenly though ‘what if you actually shot them with living creatures?”
