Did you know that before Matt Groening created the hit animated sitcom ‘The Simpsons’, he was actually hired by Apple to produce illustrations for them?
According to Vintagezen, Groening was hired by Apple in 1989 to produce a brochure for the company that was aimed at college students.
The brochure featured his ‘Life in Hell’ style of illustrations, and it displayed standard information on Apple’s Mac computers.
However, this partnership did not last—in the same year that the brochure was launched, Groening produced ‘The Simpsons’.
