Stopping for gas or a quick bite need not be soulless and mundane, if your local McDonald’s outlet and fuel station looked as beautiful as this one in Batumi, Georgia.
Designed by architect Giorgi Khmaladze, this unusual stop-over features a stunning faceted glass dome that shelters the McDonlad’s diners, while giving them a clear view of the outdoors.
The interior of the structure is a semi-circular space that includes a lush indoor garden, a rare experience for most of its patrons who are more used to the sterile, cookie-cutter environment of modern fast-food outlets.
