
Wine is ‘more suited’ for women, and beer, a man’s drink, through and through. Such are the stereotypes of our day and age.
Oddly enough, a long time ago, beer used to be more of a woman’s drink. Furthermore, children drank it as well.
In ancient Peru, the brewing of beer was a task that was solely reserved for women of the noble class. And in more bizarre historical news, 19th century mothers in Munich actually downed several pints of beer a day, because it was believed that it was beneficial and necessary for breastfeeding.
