San Francisco-based Illustrator Yina Kim has created a delightful set of drawings which she collectively calls The Secret Knots.
Inspired by random people Kim came across while people-watching/studying people in public places, the drawings feature accompanying little captions that reveal a bit about the life of the person which Kim thinks matches the face she chose to draw.
According to her, studying their faces makes her feel like she knows them “unconsciously,” and her creations reinforce her belief that “everyone is connected in secret knots.”
