Inspired by the logos of mega corporations, designer and artist Jorge Oswaldo has created a series of thought-provoking, eye-catching paintings.
By deconstructing famous brand logos—such as Twitter’s blue bird and Chanel’s interlocking ‘C’s—he produces graphics with a “comforting familiarity” that is also refreshingly different from the original logos at the same time.
“By removing corporate logos from their original settings, and applying them in a different context, Oswaldo re-contextualizes their original meaning within a hypermodern framework.”
How many brand logos can you identify in these paintings?
