Kuala Lumpur-based Malaysian illustrator Tang Yau Hoong has recently released a brand new series of clever illustrators that is based on famous quotes from the likes of Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein and Nelson Mandela.
Creatively interpreting the well-known quotes—such as Steve Jobs’ “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish”—the illustrator uses negative space and cute images to bring across the weighty truth of these quotes in a light-hearted manner.
“I enjoy making illusion art because it has the ability to mislead us. We rely on sight in our lives and yet it is so fragile that we could easily be deceived by what we see.”
