Pixelated Photorealistic Pictures, Made From Bubble Wrap Injected With Paint

New York-based artist Bradley Hart has created a series of pictures and portraits by injecting paint into bubble wrap.

In his ‘Injections’ series, Hart injects each bubble individually with acrylic paint—a time consuming and complex process—until it eventually forms a pixelated portrait of an important person or a picture of a place.

Once the paint has been injected, the excess of it drips down the back of the picture, forming a second series of works called ‘Impressions’.

“…the pieces each seem to engage the other and the viewer becomes an observer of a relationship created between the two,” said Hart.
