Swedish artist Henrik Sahlstrom has redesigned the looks of four Batman characters to reflect the film noir aesthetic.
It helps that the dark and gritty feel of the comics and movies translates well to this look—The Dark Knight’s voluminous cloak conceals him in an aura of mystery while the Joker steals the show with his psychotic grin.
