Jordan Mummert and his team at iSkelter have created the ‘Slate’, a “mobile airdesk” that is designed to let you work comfortably on your laptop just about anywhere.
Cut from a block of pure, premium bamboo, Slate lets you rest your laptop on your lap without the discomfort of heat on your thighs or overheating the computer.
This perforated desktop allows for cooling ventilation and would absorb the heat from your laptop—it also features a smart docking station for your phone and tablet, in addition to a heavy-duty mouse pad that has been embedded into it.
Super lightweight and very strong, Slate is not only highly functional but also aesthetically pleasing with its sleek curves and hand-sanded surfaces.
