The founder of ‘LoveRoom’ believes that being attractive can take you places, like earning a place to stay for free, and possibly finding your soulmate. The platform is slightly similar to boarding rental website ‘Airbnb’, except for one pertinent catch: your potential boarder needs to be attractive.
It seems that superficiality is not shunned in the ‘LoveRoom’ community, as reads a description on the website’s front page: “LoveRoom is a platform where people can rent their living space to other people under one condition: they need to be attractive.”
Single users are encouraged to sign up for the free-of-charge service, where owners and renters can get to know each other better by answering some personality questions. The website offers ‘safety advice’ for users, like “do some research on the person” and “make sure your host is a hottie”.
We’re not sure what to make of some of the questions such as “Tub or shower?” and “Carpet or hardwood?”, but ultimately, if both deem the other attractive, then an arrangement can be made quickly. Users can upload photos and send private messages to further speed up the deal process.
Would you use this platform?
