DesignTAXI readers and UNIQLO lovers, rejoice!

DesignTAXI has teamed up with Japanese retailer UNIQLO for a special edition T-shirt that will be available in stores worldwide at just US$12.90.

As part of the UNIQLO’s UT Creative Journal Directions collaboration, the line of T-shirts will also feature some of the world’s leading creative journals and magazines—including Computer Arts, Creative review, IdN, Surface, Ppaper, Design 360˚ and +81, to name a few.

Hand-drawn by DesignTAXI’s founder Alex Goh, the DesignTAXIxUT design stays true to the online publisher’s theme of being an “inspirational source”.

The print features a path that’s trapped in a box, depicting the journey we take in life and the creative process.

“The creative process, like many phases of our lives, is rarely a straight path,” Alex Goh shares. “Many times, you imagine yourself taking a new turn, but in reality you are actually still trapped in the box.”

“Many people give up in exhaustion, few people continue taking new turns. The ones who do, usually figure out the way out. If not, they fill up the box with experience. It’s a beautiful thought. Believe you can and keep trying.”

The path-filled box is accompanied with a quote that reads: “It may be a long way, but you will get there.” We just have to keep on trying and soldiering on.

And because you can never have enough free T-shirts, if you’d like to win a T-shirt, or all 13 designs for yourself, just tweet the following message “I want the #DesignTAXIxUT!” with a link back to this article.

There are 15 DesignTAXIxUT up for grabs, with five in each size.

With the tweet, you’d also stand a chance to win all 13 designs—and like the DesignTAXIxUT’s motivational message, don’t stop trying!

The DesignTAXIxUT comes in men’s sizes, and will launch in March in the US, Canada, UK, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, ThailandThe Philippines, and Russia.
