
If you think that litter in the city can only be unsightly, you should take a look at this intriguing photo series by Salt Lake City-based hobbyist photographer Howard Jackman.
As part of his 52-week photography challenge, Jackman went around his home city capturing surprisingly dreamy images of abandoned takeaway coffee cups.
Found on public benches, staircases and all sorts of places, these empty cups are “sad reminders of temporary caffeine fixes” that the city-dwellers have tossed aside without a second thought.
