Italian photographer Luca Meneghel has conceived of a whimsical fashion photoshoot that creatively re-imagines the idea of playing dress-up.
First, he got illustrator Norma Nardi to create black marker drawings of lovely, elaborate dresses and accessories on the surface of a large oval mirror that is set in an ornate wooden frame.
He then dressed model Nasty Bugriy in nude underwear and positioned her precisely in front of the mirror so that it appears that she is “wearing” the beautiful illustrated dresses.
The result is a series of captivating portraits that blends reality with an imaginative illustrated world—view more images from the “Into The Mirror” photoshoot below.
