As a follow up of MINI’s Driving Dogs campaign, New Zealand-based SPCA, BMW and DraftFCB Auckland decided to give all other SPCA animals a chance to ‘drive’ as well—to encourage adopting of pets.
Adopted puppies were given free ‘cars’ to ‘drive’ to their new homes—which are actually special cardboard carry boxes shaped like a MINI.
With a convertible roof, the MINI-shaped box transforms into a dog bed—where puppies can spend their first eight weeks of their lives.
The MINI box comes in three authentic colors of the brand—to suit the pet’s personality—and is customisable with an alphabetic sticker sheet to create a personalized license plate.
It also comes with an “owner’s manual”.
