New York-based developers Weartrons have developed a handy fitness gadget that helps you read while you are running on a treadmill.
Named ‘Run-n-Read’, this gadget allows you to read books as you are working out on a treadmill, elliptical trainers, stepmills, stairmasters, and even exercise bikes.
By clipping a small device to the collar of your shirt or a headband, it tracks the motion and movement of your head and shoulders and keeps the text bouncing in sync with your eyes.
This device works with a free dedicated Run-n-Read e-reader app on an Android or iOS tablet and phone.
It can also help reduce eye strain when travelling on a train, bus, or car.
Weartrons is currently seeking funding and plans to ship the device by January 2014. For more information, visit their website here.
