Ukrainian freelance illustrator Max Degtyarev has made a charming chart that documents the day of a common park bench.
One may think that a public bench is nothing very interesting, but if it is able to talk, it would tell engrossing stories about the many people who sit on it throughout the day.
From the old man reading the newspaper in the mid-morning to the couple having a rendezvous around midnight, one gets the sense that this simple bench is one of those quiet communal spaces where life happens.
