A freelance illustrator from Bangalore, Alicia Souza’s adorable illustrations of old wives’ tales allow us to get a glimpse of the colorful cultures in India.
Some of our favorites include the illustration of a young lady offering to give away her mother-in-law with the caption, “What you give on a Friday, you will never get back”, as well as the one which “explains” insomnia by stating that the insomniac is in someone else’s dreams.
