The element of color is often a source of inspiration for artists and photographers, and we’ve seen variations of how photographers play with color in their compositions.
Photographer Sara Cwynar wanted to organize her personal collection of things hoarded over the years, and decided to make this a creative project.
Sorting through her vast collection, she arranged the assorted objects according to color and took photographs of them, naming it the ‘Colorful Series’.
By rearranging disparate objects, she explores “the idea of how objects change over time”, especially in terms of their meaning and value.
