Spraytect’s smartphone case
Many companies that design smartphone cases have taken to equipping them with stun guns, pepper spray and hidden knives, helping people defend themselves should they encounter any aggressors.
For example, the Yellow Jacket company makes smartphone cases which are equipped with stun guns, and each potential shot will send 650,000 volts to any potential attacker.
Two other companies, Spraytect and Smart Guard, conceal pepper spray in their smartphone cases, with the former equipping the pepper spray into the casing itself while the latter requires the user to whip it out.
The Atlanta Cutlery Corp also has smartphone cases which have a hidden knife in them as well.
Although these hidden weapons may be useful, self-defense experts are concerned as people may not know how to use them properly.
