New York-based advertising agency BBDO New York has created a beautiful new ad for Guinness that tugs on the heartstrings, unlike most beer commercial you have seen.
The one-minute ad opens on a scene of wheelchair basketball players, aggressively fighting it out in a game of basketball. They are full of emotion, being equally frustrated and happy whenever each player misses a shot or scores a point.
As the game progresses, one player ends up in a hustle and falling over but is quick to get back on his chair independently and confidently.
They show a strong bond and camaraderie with each other, until finally they end the game, revealing a twist to their friendship and bond, which is even deeper than expected.
The line that follows, reads “The choices we make reveal the true nature of our character."
