Travel blog Venere has created a mouth-watering chart that highlights 10 of what they consider to be the most unique burgers in the US.
The status of the burger as an American food icon means that almost every city in the country has given their own special take on the dish, which usually goes beyond the standard bun, patty, cheese and mustard combination.
From a luxurious Kobe beef and Maine lobster burger that costs US$777 in Las Vegas, to the sweet and salty peanut butter and jelly burger in Anaheim, these featured burgers are definitely not your regular bite-and-go burger.
