Photographer Coralie Gourguechon has made a cute DIY digital camera out of cardboard—simply named ‘Craft Camera’—as part of his graduation project.
The objective of the project is to “counter [plan] obsolescence and complexity of electronic products”, which invariably lead to their high costs.
Using an electronic system by open-source platform Arduino, the affordable self-made camera features a simple but attractive geometric-shaped body—a cut-and-assemble template of it can be printed onto sturdy cardboard.
The photos taken with the Craft Camera are stored on a memory card and can be displayed on a computer—you can contact Gourguechon via email to receive detailed instructions and the printable body template.
