The logo and branding designs found in the gaming industry may not be the most inspiring, but Massachusetts-based graphic designer Cory Schmitz is certainly going against the grain with his refreshing work with video games.
According to The Fox Is Black, his “bold, clever designs” are the “exception to the rule” of the over-stylized vibe of so many video games in the market.
Having created logos and branding for quite a number of video games—a mix of the popular and the indie—Schmitz’s designs stand out for their distinctly contemporary aesthetic that is so different from how a typical video game looks like.
