Business Insider discovered an unusual cosmetic procedure that is gaining popularity in South Korea via Reddit—a minor surgery that turns up the corners of the patient’s mouth, to create a permanent half-smile.
According to a video produced by South Korean Aone Plastic Surgery, the procedure is named “Smile Lipt”—a combination of the words “lift” and “lips”—and used to correct drooping lip corners.
An option for people with asymmetrical mouths or are not confident about their smiles, the Smile Lipt will make it look as though you are smiling even when you are having a really bad day.
