Polish photographer Adam Tomaszewski captures amazing macro shots of insects as they stare back at his camera.
His favorite of them all are damselflies, which are similar to dragonflies, but with smaller eyes.
In his collection of images, he captured the damselflies with drops of dew forming on their heads—revealing the thousands of hexagonal lenses in their eyes.
According to the DailyMail, he spends about four hours to capture the insects—using ‘focus stacking’ to merge the images together.
